The association was formed on the 4th of February 1984. In this year(2014), we celebrate the 30^th Anniversary of founding the association. The pioneering members include Castus Peiris, Aloysius Perera (deceased), Richard Batuwantudawe, Daya Perera and Herb Embuldeniya. This group of individuals, amongst others, were the force behind the organization during the formation years.
